What’s with the conservative obsession with meat to the point where they hate veggies and steaks are strictly all they’re willing to eat

It's a rejection of the oppressive regime they lived under.

The globalist elites (Mommy) forced them to eat the bugs and live in a pod (stay at the table until they finished their vegetables)

its kind of a cultural b******ization of what used to be a rebellious "hippie" idea, you know, like food is unhealthy and etc because it's all owned by big industry and it's slop for the masses so the only way to prevent being unhealthy is to eat raw organic ingredients because all modern food is a conspiracy. there's also stuff about masculinity and traditionalism mixed in there. its been around for years but recent memes about eating bugs, soy, etc. really kicked it into hype. a large part of quasi-manosphere right wing online culture is fixations on hyper-specific health habits as some act of "rebellious" self-improvement/narcissism

    Yeah absolutely true

But I love how conservatives make a culture war of everything that ostensible libs do

Libs go veg or vegan for health, animal, or environmental reasons -> Conservatives become obsessed with meat

Libs promote fair trade agriculture, namely coffee beans -> Conservatives create BLACK RIFLE coffee

Libs start drinkin environmentally conscious boxed water -> LIQUID DEATH water in a can

idek if that last one was even created by conservatives but I know my libertarian friend drinks it

All I know if that American liberals and conservatives are the same exact thing, just both incredibly neurotic attention seekers both following their own side’s virtue signaling rituals

Actually the conservatives may be worse because nothing arises naturally for them, it’s always in response to what the libs are up to, often portraying themselves as the victim having something taken away (mommy said playtime is over)

a lot of it isnt just political inherently but is based in narcissism (which you could psychoanalyze as insecurity but thats neither here nor there).

a lot of the online right is founded on ideas of being better than others more than it is just about liberals being stupid. this is why much of rw discourse isn't that people are dumb because theyre liberals, it's that they're liberals BECAUSE they're dumb. so therefore being contrarian makes them smart because they aren't like the stupid unwashed low IQ masses. a lot of discourse stems from self improvement as a means of being better than others, hence why you see overlaps with manosphere rhetoric which preaches kind of similar things in that regard. this isn't to say beliefs in antiegalitarianism are the core of all of this, it's more hyper-fixation on perceived narcissistic individualism, or at least an idea that they are part of a club of you know, high IQ etc. individuals who know better than the masses controlled by the jews. A lot of this makes sense when you realize many of these people who are now far right used to be reddit atheist libertarians back in the day - i mean, hell, even Fuentes was literally a Ron Paul Redditor who is now a borderline neo-nazi. It's the same cultural thread and always has been.

A lot of liberal virtue signaling is definitely on the other side of the coin of this, adhering to perceived charitable norms as a means of cleansing oneself of responsibility for participating in otherwise sociopathic societal norms. If conservatives participate in contrarianism as a means of feeding a superiority complex to distinguish themselves from others, american liberals participate in virtue signaling as a means of paternalism, status signaling to in-groups, and socialization
