wow that is a whole next level of like mis-quoting someone. interesting how they didn't put the video in the tweet. you can watch the video in the original article; he doesn't say anything close to the headline. i genuinely rewatched it like 10 times trying to figure out where he said "we're gonna kill democrats". he doesn't even say the word "democrat" once in the entire 1 minute video. the closest thing i can find is he says something like "if voters are intimidated, some of us who are tasked with standing up to protect their rights will" and then immediatedly follows it with "but standing up for rights is always spun as we're the ones (intimidating others/causing violence)...like as if our militia mention are on the streets on election day intimidating voters. And that's what (they're) going to do (...) coercing trump voters". the part where he says "our militia men are gonna be on the street" is in a part of the sentence which is clearly him giving an example of what the news is going to spin their existence as, not him endorsing that. The fact that they titled the headline that should actually legitimately be illegal. they can't even find a citation in the actual article which implies anything to the extent of the headline.
