change your spotify password, last week researcher found a big ass cloud server with like 400k accounts with the username and password stored. and now with the artists accounts being f***ed with, its clear spotify has some security concerns

from what i read spotify identified the accounts that actually got hacked, and forced users to reset their password. either way, if they had a bunch of account info on a database, their could be accounts on there they didnt have time to try to access.

my macOS tipped me off when i tried doing that year-end spotify playlist. it wanted me to log in again and i had my password saved already, and when i logged in it actually gave me a popup alert about a data leak and that my account might be compromised
