man that is so obvious it goes without saying

i mean from a more intrinsic perspective (at least imo). being able to positively shape the minds and lives of the next generation always seemed cool asf to me. i’ve had some fantastic teachers who i remember to this day. i can only imagine how rewarding it’s gotta be to know the impact you have on students

one of my friends pivoted into teaching high school and even though he’s making like $45k less, it’s the most satisfied he’s been so far in his career

i wish it was a more financially viable option at an entry level. unfortunately i’m selfish asf and just want to make as much money possible
