Okay YeahI actually paid for dinner the other night, but the context made it comfortable for me
My date came to pickup up for us to go to the location and it was a detour for them, so I said I could Uber there if it’s too much trouble but they insisted and joked about me covering the food
When we finished eating he reached for his wallet but I said I got it and referenced earlier
That felt comfortable and I didn’t feel like they didn’t “like” me because they didn’t want to pay yknow
It’s never about the actual cost for me because I don’t need that, it’s about all the meaning around it
