Suggs has a chance to be really special if he improves his outside shooting and tightens up his handle. I think Suggs has more star potential; to me it comes down to whether you value a Draymond-type impact over counting stats
If I had to take a guess right now I'd say Suggs because I think he's already a really good on-ball defender which is Scottie's biggest strength, but he also already has a bag on offense that Scottie likely never will
I was reading this article about how Suggs mediocre assist to turnover ratio and ability to create separation off the dribble are red flags but who knows when these guys are all basically kids

I was reading this article about how Suggs mediocre assist to turnover ratio and ability to create separation off the dribble are red flags but who knows when these guys are all basically kids
He's a solid passer but he does make quite a few mistakes and he turns the ball over a lot. The one thing that jumped out to me every time I watched him was how loose his handle is. I think that can be cleaned up - it's not like he's a ballhog or something - just really careless with the ball sometimes
I personally think he does a fine job creating off the dribble. We didn't really get to see a lot of that at Gonzaga though because of how they ran their offense, there wasn't a lot of isolation play
