What is there to discuss. What was your bench scoring last year?
the bench does not play 5 at a time lol. making any conclusions from last years team is wild anyways, considering there were so many injuries we didn't even get a significant amount of time from any lineup. but guess what, tatum usually plays with 4 bench guys as part of our rotation, those lineups had a +19 net rating. Why? because putitng the ball in tatum's hands with spacing is a successful formula. it doesn't matter if we have a 20 ppg bench scorer, all that matters is that when the bench players are out there, the lineups produce.
our top lineup last year played 131 minutes together lol. compare that with the bucks who got 508 minutes, or the suns who got over 700 minutes.
Ok, name them.
the raptors were an established playoff team who in different years added in FVV, Siakam, Anuonoby, and Norm Powell to a roster with lots of talent and established players. It didn't stop them from growing and contributing.
the heat team that went to the finals was filled with veteran talent yet guys like Herro, Nunn, and Derrick Jones Jr had plenty of opportunity
Caruso found time on the championship Lakers despite them having a s*** ton of veteran guards on the roster and Divincenzo was able to break into the starting lineup on a team flooded with vets.
that's just pulling from finals teams the past few seasons but I'm sure you can find plenty more examples around the league of young players being able to crack rotations on playoff level teams with bigger more established names ahead of them. Terance Mann, Bruce Brown, Nic Claxton, Matisse Thuybulle, Tyrese Maxey, PJ Dozier, and Monte Morris are some others that come to mind immediately
This site sucks
Can’t wait for it to crash tomorrow and then have the album not even come out

Who were these established players on toronto lol? siakam was in his 3rd year before he became a starter, he was the established player. they didn't have established veterans, they had those guys, and s***ty washed players like jodie meeks and jeremy lin lol.
miami also got most of their veterns midseason, there's a reason derrick jones basically did not play in the playoffs. also, who going to play over caruso lol? that team had no depth at guard because bron was the pg.
most of the guys you mentioned had already established themselves for 3 or 4 years as well. and lets be real, pj dozier playing 10 minutes a game in the offs hardly counts cracking the rotation, he didn't see a single second this season did he?
monte morris has been the established backup in denver for a year or two as well. bruce brown literally played out of necessity.
meanwhile the celtics young guys are not established players. none of them have had significant playing time in the league yet

"Based on various reports, Houston wanted Philly’s offer to included Simmons, Tyrese Maxey, Mattise Thybulle and multiple draft picks."
Now we don't know what the actual deal would've been since we never actually got back to them.... The Sixers actually thought the deal was happening.
