Stretched out over a full year, that payment would equate to a salary of $45,600. The teams also handle other expenses for the participants, however.

Depending on their contract, they probably get paid 15-30k a game.(random number but you get the gist of it) I think.

I was in this CL league for a few seasons.

Hated the concept of teams having the same players and being able to substitute out bad performers in between match days on the 2 legged knockouts

Seemed even more unnatural than fantasy already is

Kobe for example chose to get the lump sum upfront but for rookies you’d assume they’d want it fortnightly

Idk if it’s different for CL but in the Prem one you get two transfers every week. You get more after that but it costs points to do so
