Also u don’t think the border control law will change now the Olympics is over?I think border control will change either after the Paralympics or after the election - probably the election (at the latest in October, but can be called earlier).
You can stay anywhere in Japan as an immigrant and be relatively safe for the most part IMO. Cops might haggle you and ask to see your passport/residence card but there isn't a lot of violence or danger to you unless you overstay your visa or commit a crime.
The problem is just that at times like this the Japanese government really shows it's ass (letting in 80k+ for Olympics while 30k~ish students remain stuck outside the country)

Okay YeahYes very sick, bedridden, massive headaches to point of throwing up
I literally had no symptoms of anything after either shot... First shot I had a sore arm that was tingling the day of and day after.... 2nd shot I had no soreness day off and a little less soreness compared to first shot... the day after.

and yea I've never felt safer than in Japan. you can be walking alone drunk on a weekend with your phone out at 3am and nothing will happen in 99% of neighborhoods
