So as for your 300K, sorry but “album sales” these days does not equal the amount of listeners and actually album sales have never given us the tally of listeners. Because lots of people listen to their friends albums, not everyone buys every album.

Especially today, it’s very easy to “fake” album sales numbers by having “zombie PCs” constantly streaming an album on repeat.
