no team has ever won the tournament with lower than an 8 seed. these additional teams have zero chance to win so what are we doing

I give the women’s side a lil extra s*** bc it’s legit a piece of history just for a 4 seed to make a run, much less a..18th? seed on that side, but yeah. A 18th seed would’ve lost by 50 against Michigan or Arizona. Auburn was effectively a 16th seed (or I guess really a 11th seed but whatever) and lost by 30 to both teams. So think a team that’s 2 seeds lower than us.
