Looking back at a list of all the announced games and it honestly was pretty decent. I think the shows main problem is the presentation. E3 press conferences worked because they broke up the monotony of basically watching 1 1/2-2 hours of ads with live gameplay, notable dev appearances and some theatrics. I’d love to see Geoff incorporate more of that.
just watched the entire showcase and this was the main highlight to me. overall, the show was just okay
GRIS (by the same devs) was FIRE

Started the game on the regular Switch model then dropped the game for some reason, which I’m glad I did cus I picked it back up on my Switch OLED and goddamn the visuals looked stunning on that thing

This was not bad the way people are crying. Maybe it’s because I got updates on the games I wanted. I got season 2 street fighter info, I got Garou info, I got Dragon Ball info, Metaphor info. Monster Hunter info. I came into this knowing nothing crazy was getting announced. My expectations were in hell and I came out satisfied with the show

What did they say about monster hunter
I dont understand how e3 died for this, e3 clears sgf in every category. It actually managed to get the entire industry together for a week. Even when some companies started doing a show of their own in the later installments, it still was under their umbrella, in that week. This year sgf didnt even have Sony on, and Nintendo of course doesnt want to associate with geoff shows that much. I guess this time of the year felt more like a huge event back then, and i kinda miss that

In the grand scheme of things I don’t think nothing will top e3 G4 combination

To be fair E3 had in house problems near the end which killed it. Funnily enough Geoff criticized their actions and yet isn't doing well on the presentation front for SGF. Which is one of the tings that E3 did well.
