atm, i'm extremely cautiously supporting steyer. as much as i hate the billionaire class and want them abolished, from what i've read so far he seems to actually put his money where his mouth is in terms of progressive policies, and apparently he's one of the few candidates that supports the proposed wealth tax. i need to do more research before i make a decision but the fact that the billionaire hedge fund guy is the left-most viable candidate policy wise says a lot about how much of a f***ing joke the democratic party is.

For any other fellow Californians itt, make sure to vote Oliver Ma for Lt. Governor! Haven't seen a whole lot of coverage on him but he's one of the few people running for state office this cycle that openly denounces israeli genocide and calls for the abolition of ice full stop

Every time I watch/listen to Platner I come away more and more impressed by him.

At this point I have no doubt that he will win the primary and win the general Sente election for Maine this year.

But what’s more — I think that if he was to defeat Collins by a significant margin in November, it could propel him to being a major candidate for a presidential run in 2028. I don’t necessarily get the sense he personally would want that at this point, but it would be interesting to see what he would do if he had that much momentum

I am not from Illinois, so I get it if you think Kat hasn't lived there long enough to trust her. But, this idea that she grew up wealthy and therefore is not going to champion working class people is intellectually bankrupt. Millionaires have backed workers and people who did not come from affluent backgrounds have sold out once they got into congress or the senate.

AIPAC has spent almost a million dollars to get Kat out of the paint. Plus this $1,500 funded influencer campaign. There is a reason for that. I know Biss has been attacked by them as well, but at the last minute they switched up and focused all of their attention on Kat because Fine will likely lose. Do not forget, initially AIPAC tried to court Biss.

So now AIPAC created a shell corporation and released a positive ad for an Anti-Israel candidate to try to suppress Kat's votes in Illinois. They have no shame. This is an insane tactic and they will do this during the midterms.

Haven’t been following the Illinois senate primary super closely but it seems like th most important thing is for Stratton to beat Raja K tonight who seems like a borderline Republican and would be a huge L for Illinois Dems if they let him win
