I kinda respect how much Michelle Obama doesn’t wanna deal with any White House f***ery ever again

There’s not an amount you could pay her and she isn’t enticed by the “first woman president” label at all. I imagine if she wanted it dumb easy, you could just saddle Kamala on her as vp and she’d only have to be a figurehead. But she’s like nah f*** that…I respect

I seem to remember the Trump co-sign not being as strong as it used to be

I also just don’t trust Vance or Rubio to not make some public faux pas (like one that their demos would consider embarrassing) with how goofy their personalities are. Definitely hard to believe that they’ll look as “powerful” as Repubs consider Trump to look on stage

The Trump co-sign isn't strong enough to get his election deniers elected in generals but there's no way any republican candidate is winning that primary without it

His endorsement is about to get Lindsey Graham's sister elected to the senate basically by itself

Thank goodness we have so many establishment dems that are going to let republicans take the correct and popular side on this lmfao

    Point still stands

“Return to normalcy” for another 4 years will just make it swing that much harder to the right in 2032

Should be a cakewalk for the dems to win the next one but their candidates are absolute ass

If normalcy isnt good enough after this term then I literally have nothing else to say. Good night and good luck

JD Vance or Marco Rubio and you guys are severely underestimating how much people's lives suck. It'll take republicans at least a decade to match the minority support they got in '24

Whoever the Democratic nominee ends up being is going to campaign on changing the names back to Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ontario, taking Trump's name off of the Kennedy Center, and removing all of the gold from the oval office

It's a deeply unserious party with irredeemable leadership. You can't just assume that they are going to magically have good policies

This is the Democrats playbook in Virginia, lol. Remove confederate statues and rename s***.

    Ah yes the "ethical billionaire"

there are no ethical billionaires, but steyer was about as close as you could get. he was anti monopoly, anti private utilities, very anti ice, and pro climate change action. his only shortcoming was stopping short of acknowledging israeli genocide. his policy ideas were miles better than whatever tf becerra wants to do, since he still won't even tell anybody

Steyer spent half a billion dollars to not even come close to winning two races. People wouldve been more likely to vote for him if he used that money to help people instead

Instead of 500M to attempt to inflate his ego he could've funded a s*** ton of pilot UBI programs through the state, like Michael Tubbs had in Stockton (with Bloomberg money)

Going back to brunch in 2020 is what brought Trump back in ‘24

Ok so just to be clear, and ignoring that you think a billionaire needs to run for political office as a progressive to "inflate his ego" for some reason, you are saying that Steyer would have needed to spend 500M funding UBI programs and self-finance his campaign to earn your vote over a centrist that protects police from investigation, supports the death penalty, is in bed with big oil, wants to build more data centers, and is anti universal healthcare?

    Do I have that right?

It's so cool that no Democrat will say these things because they're too busy condemning Hasan Piker and the DSA
