    Who is Kamala’s core support

According to the DNC 2024 it’s Megan Thee Stallion

  • NBA GameBoy

    They got 2 different agendas

surely one walks the walk more than the other, but u'd have to make the case for this as if it were 2028. per kamala's recent pivoting toward 'progressives' and aoc's establishment solidarity~spotty voting record, i'm not inclined to believe said claim is still true

Doubt. They have their core support and that's it.

that's.. kind of why it makes sense? u seem to be coming at it from the usual playbook of "we need a white moderate~right adjacent running mate to secure independents", when kamala's campaign already proved that tactic might not work anymore.

whereas both her "vote blue no matter who" core support (particularly with Black folk) as you called it and the centre-left enamored with aoc - energizes the latter's core base, leftist youth, undecided Hispanic constituency and democratic voters who sat out 2024 that still need someone up there they feel is more amenable on Gaza~or will at least push the potus to acquiesce toward key progressive agendas

also their combined star power ~ a double woman ticket..

  • +with this economy, the 3peat of vance nem or another illegal trump era {both begging 4 votes bad atp} aren't necessarily the sisyphean challenges some might think they are

You may be right. My biases towards them may be clouding my a***ysis since I follow politics more closely than the average joe. But idk man.. idk.

America has elected a cult leader businessman over a woman twice, I hope the Democratic Party gets the point that a woman isn’t getting elected and stops committing party suicide by forcing it lol. I don’t have a problem with it personally but doing it a 3rd time and expecting to win this time is braindead and shows no interest in winning

A no name non senile man would have a much better chance at winning, running Kamala once was idiotic after seeing Hillary lose to the same man. Just zero actual intent to win

Running someone as hated as Gavin Newsom would be equally braindead, the party needs to run a fresh face or someone who hasn’t been in the center of political limelight for the last 10 years

whether you’re for or against her politics or her as a figure in general I think the demonization of AOC from her rookie season to now is real detraction from her national prospects

It's not compelling to you because you have over 80 IQ
Can't say the same about the average yankee

  • Trumptards will talk about how two women in charge of the US is a Lindsay Clancy situation in the making and a post-partum AOC might nuke the country

nah i dont think 'a woman isnt electable' was the point, nor that this holds water against someone who isn't trump. dnc skipping over a primary entirely and the handling of israel r more believable than this reductive assessment

feel like this angle still necessitates and hinges on the idea that appealing to maga~adjacents is the only key strategy for winning, rather than incentivizing undecided/potential voters who sat the last election out. and im jus not sure i believe in that anymore

appealing to the ignorance and bigotry of an undyingly loyal cult is a tried and failed experiment atp, especially when the other white dems in contention dont inspire nearly much faith as wat seem to be the two frontrunners with the most social momentum

Democrats, especially centrists, don't like to look beyond identity politics because playing that card keeps them from having to face the real reasons they lose (cozying up to Republicans, being beholden to billionaires/corporate donors, being abysmal on Israel, etc.)

Every Democrat I know IRL and online that sat out the 2024 presidential election did so because Kamala was terrible on Israel, campaigned with Liz Cheney, and had no real platform. She essentially ran on "I'm not Trump," which made her a terrible candidate. Her being a woman had nothing to do with it

Anyone saying that a woman or a minority can't win is either blind or not paying attention. The three most popular young democratic politicians in the country at the moment are an Ugandan man, an American man with Egyptian parents, and a Puerto Rican woman.

Look at our white male candidates

Buttigieg: Zero support amongst minority voters, viewed as elitist/no common man appeal
Ossoff: Took 800k from AIPAC, doesn't support universal healthcare
Newsom: Has tons of skeletons in his closet, is a fervent Zionist, and just tanked whatever scraps remained of his presidential chances with the Paramount deal

I kinda respect how much Michelle Obama doesn’t wanna deal with any White House f***ery ever again

There’s not an amount you could pay her and she isn’t enticed by the “first woman president” label at all. I imagine if she wanted it dumb easy, you could just saddle Kamala on her as vp and she’d only have to be a figurehead. But she’s like nah f*** that…I respect

Cause why tf would any sane person want to be president fr

Any talk of electability during the mid terms is DOA for me, not even hearing it. Whoever the Dems run will win.

    F*** running Kamala again tho

  • hope someone really drills newsom n buttigieg for the paramount merger and ohio train derailment on tha debate stage cus iaint hearin nearly enough smoke for those 2 closet zionists by comparison
