This was a response to an unsigned 50 Cent’s radio hit “How to Rob” in which he listed all the artists he was going to rob, Hov included.

Hov first performed “It’s Hot” live at the 1999 Summer Jam, which he headlined. In an interview with Angie Martinez in 2002 he explained how he was backstage with 50 before he spat the line:

I told him ‘Yo, I respect the record, yeah I liked that record, it was hot. But you know I gotta spank you dog!’ That was the conversation. 50 responded ‘No doubt, do your thing!’ Then it was peace. History … What I respect though is that conversation. It was real.

Def the best out of the Vol. series. Is That Yo B**** should have been included on US discs. That beat is so great.

Pretty sure that song was left off because it was put in the Memphis Bleak album tbh

Vol. 1 is my second fave. Vol. 2 great too but my least favorite. Not saying the songs aren't good. There are some classics. But the format for that album kinda felt like an ep of singles to me.

The middle of volume 3 kinda kills it for me tbh,

Agreed, amil is trash! As far as snoopy track goes it sounds like it belongs on a juve album and stands out pretty bad to me, a few absolute classics on there though

The CD I have doesn’t have Is That Yo B**** or Anything on it. Also missing Hova Interlude, only has the intro and outro. Amazing album, it has aged really well to me
