I relistened to both his albums last year and I gotta say Life After Death was a REALLY enjoyable listen. Super fun album.
Timeless classic commercially, quality, and impact wise. A true trifecta. I’ve said it before but I Got A Story To Tell is everything hip hop embodies rolled into one perfect song. RIP to the GOAT
"Life After Death" is his greatest work.
The sad thing about it is, he was only 24 when he made it. He was only getting better as an artist when he died. Imagine the type of albums he would've made at age 26, 27, 28, 29, etc....
On another note, I still didn't like the fact that he made a song dissing 2Pac after he died (Long Kiss Goodnight) but whatever.
