"28 Years Later is the most heart-wrenching, emotionally involving horror film I have ever watched, while also turning up the gore and terror to 11."
Excerpt from a review
Damn this sounds good. But I noticed on the regular viewers reviews a lot of them didn't like it. Or at least the 2nd half and especially the ending which is supposedly really weird. Idk. I'm still super excited as there is so much conflicting and contradicting responses to the film . Crazy the movie is already leaked too on the Internet.
screw that this type of movie needs to be seen on a big screen

I trust KTT reviews more than anything

I've noticed many negative reviews by audience members on sites like reddit and letterboxd. Seems like critics liked it more than regular people
Just watched it.
It's really good. Don't expect something crazy or unique, it's just a really really well-made zombie movie which gets the emotions right.
Great pacing and 2 hours just flew by, it never bores you at all.
I don't think the ending is gonna be that controversial and the movie stands on it's own pretty well imo.
Personally, I think it's better than 28 Days Later but that one was never really that groundbreaking to me cause I guess I watched it after The Last Of Us became a significant part of pop culture.
You don't need to watch 28 Weeks Later (even 28 Days Later for that matter but I'd still recommend doing that to know the world).

Loved it. Unfortunately feels like a case where something becomes so influential that it lessens its own impact by taking something fresh and innovative and making it feel familiar
Just read a review for the film and holy s***, apparently this movie is just full blown Danny Boyle and Garland, and their respective styles, taken to 11.
Movie is apparently shockingly experimental both visually and narratively to the point of almost feeling like an anti-blockbuster.
Direct quote (translated):
“Some will see it as a magnificent trash film, others as a kamikaze blockbuster.”
This movie is 100% gonna be a love it or hate it experience. Rest of the review makes it sound absolutely UNHINGED.
Especially visually this is so experimental and raw
Insane s*** danny cooked here
