saw this hours ago with my gf pretty solid film a slow burner but picks up once they hit the mainland||. the characters were solid for the most part i liked that danny boyle kept that indie documentary art style that 28 days later had ||i liked that double kill shot havent seen that in a movie before. overall solid film the ending was bizarre as hell but i'd give 7.5/10. i'll check out the next film next year.

All this talk of the ending but my biggest issue was the bone temple. The whole set was way too elaborate and clean, let alone how the skulls stayed in place as we seen the kid remove one with ease.

just finished. A bit underwhelmed to be honest. I felt the father/son journey on the mainland was the strongest part of the film but short lived. Feels a bit directionless and almost like a different film after the fact. I knew Jack O’Connell was in the this and was waiting for him all film just to get that silly ass ending. A lot of great themes and scene in all but this could’ve been so much better
