as someone who religiously plays proclubson fifa and was a big fan of 2k MyCareer until like 2k20, i‘m lowkey excited to see what they’re cooking

if it’s pay to play like the last 3-4 nba2k‘s i‘m out tho

Remember Fifa was asking EA for an absurd amount of money, like 250 million a year. That's just for the FIFA name, not all the other soccer teams that they have to negotiate with to use in the game. The fifa name is pretty irrelevant itself aside from name recognition.

But competition is always good and 2k at the least makes quality offline modes unlike EA who only focuses on UT

EA have shown somehow more than ever this year they need competition badly

2K is a known in game loot fest too though so not holding out hope

Regardless if they both came out same day I think id try whatever is new vs EA at this point

2K's 'FIFA' will be about 2 years away apparently

It also won't have PL licenses, which is a hurdle PES never overcame despite it being the better game in the PS2 era
