2KBaby is a Louisville, Kentucky rapper best known for his collaborations with Chief Keef, Lil Durk, G Herbo, YFN Lucci and DDG.

In December 2022 he dropped a jacking for beats mixtape "Sorry 4 The Hate", inspired by Lil Wayne's 2011 mixtape "Sorry 4 The Wait". I stumbled upon the mixtape randomly today on SoundCloud.

Generally, I haven't been enjoying jacking for beats mixtapes lately (Lil Wayne's No Ceilings 3 and Meek Mill's Flamerz 5 come to mind). They have become stale and predictable to me.

But this tape from 2KBaby was surprisingly good. 2KBaby has his own distinct melodic sound which I enjoy. The "Wait For U" freestyle is definitely the standout imo -

He even rapped over Taylor Swift's "Anti Hero", reminiscent of Wayne rapping over Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" on the original "Sorry 4 The Wait" -
