Well yeah, the only jobs available right now are customer service jobs like retail and restaurants.
So lets see, your choices are go work as an 'essential worker' for a fraction less, while also possibly exposing yourself and others to Carona because retail/restaurant jobs are famous for their cooperative and respectful customers, right?
Or sit in the safety of my home and get paid like congress did these last few months?
Also, they ignore the fact that for a lot of people, it's simply not worth the effort to get a job during this. There's no extra pay, especially for working so closely with people and cash, so where's the f***ing incentive? You know damn well they have extra rules and procedures to follow now so those jobs are even more annoying because it's extra responsibility for no extra money.
These old out of touch f***s have the nerve to tell people to get back to work while they chill in the comfort of their home (Not even working remotely, literally on f***ing vacation, nonetheless) in the middle of a pandemic.
