Why did Death Row change it into hardcore extreme gangster rap?

I wouldn't describe the official album in that way...is that all you think it is?

It's my favourite Pac album, but it seemed that they exploited 2pac's thug persona and made him seem like a murderous gangster.

You gotta remember this album was being advertised as "2pacs last words". Ending on against all odds was the ultimate mic drop moment. The biggest f*** you in history. I just can't see the album ending any other way even tho when thugz cry is great.

Was this ever proven? I remember some people that worked on mixing the album said they gave up on some songs and replaced one of them with just like daddy because it was already mixed for the outlawz album

This wasnt an alternative version this just a made up version.

I remember seeing a bunch of handwritten tracklists for pac albums and the real tracklist for makaveli was one of them. I doubt i'll be able to find that exact one right now tho
