I might have to go back to this album at some point. It didn't really do much for me back then and it's been three years since I listened to it. I love Man Alive so maybe I just wasn't in the right space for The Ooz or something.

i really wasn't into it or archie himself at first but i came back to it the summer after it came out and was blown away

This album is so much better than Man Alive to me. Give this another chance. Preferably when it’s colder. Bonus points if it’s foggy.
