Like it sounded so good to him that night that he locked it in before falling asleep
Genuinely this though
It seems like he was in a mindset to make an album in this vein
Got most of the way there
And then couldn’t figure out the inspiration to finish it tried for a couple years and just released it as is

Fans of his are still listening to it. And he's satisfied with the product. All that matters
