What would happen if a huge spike of 3rd party voters voted for the Candidate?

Example: Donald Trump wins again but some Third Party Candidate beats Biden?

Would that change anything, or would it just be meaningless?

If a 3rd party candidate gets 5% their party gets public funding and helps establish them as a serious contender

We live in a single member-district plurality system. It is designed for nothing to happen.
Nothing will happen.

It will take a substantial movement to rout the DNC and RNC from our government. Simply voting (and achieving a measly 5%) will do nothing

If a progressive third party became viable the only thing that would happen is a Republican would win every election from here til infinity

It’s not their fault, it’s the fault of the people who are in charge of this system & who prevent it from happening. I know what you’re getting at, with them taking votes away and allowing trump to win, but ultimately it’s the fault of the DNC, the American government, & the media for preventing people from thinking for themselves

we can’t keep allowing the DNC to feed candidates to us that we didn’t actually choose

What can we do about it though? Cause honestly I’m not voting ever again..

I will not participate in any political elections unless it’s local, that’s my stance and it’s a hill I’m willing to die on.
