Just shows you that getting a PHD doesn’t make you smart
Fr what does this mean? Is this like ancestory test stuff that people submit stuff to that the cops pulled from?
Yeah, something along those lines basically.
do you know why they redacted the page about Ethan?
I dont. Just speculating. I noticed that. That's what makes me think some crazy s*** may have taken place with Ethan. I actually can't really think why they would've omitted it.

Is Ethan one of the victims? I haven't been following the names I've just seen the victims pictures. Crazy they were so young

Yes, he was the only male victim.
He didn't live there. He was w/Kernodle. I believe they may have been awake when Bryan entered. She had a Door dash order at 4a right before the murders take place. So, she was up. I imagine he was too.

@Speak in the probable cause documents they released they said they collected trash from his family’s house and verified the DNA from the sheath against the father’s from the trash they collected

Thank you for clarifying, I hadn’t seen the probable cause docs were out there now. Kinda want to read them, kinda don’t want to at all
They caught him because he left his knife sheath in one of the rooms, and his DNA matched. They knew about him since nov 29.
Study phd for criminology and leave evidence at a murder scene lol
Least mentally deficient serial killer

They reveal a whole lot of info. Check the Reddit sub, they’ve got a megathread on it. It gives their timeline of events for that night, some of which is new information (such as a DoorDash delivery being made just minutes before the murder, at least some of the victims being awake, the roommate seeing the killer). And it goes over how exactly they narrowed down who it was - which was surprisingly easy and they had him nailed within two weeks.

That’s the probable cause thread!
One especially creepy thing to me - his cell phone was in the neighborhood at 9 AM the next morning. The neighbors had said they saw the front door open at 9 AM, which the police chief said “would be news to him”. I think it’s possible he went back in the house the following morning, possibly to try to recover to the sheath.

Wasn’t the roommate still there though? Unless he intended to get it back but then booked it when he saw the roommate was still there

Yeah the roommates were still there, but the cops weren’t called until noon. But I can think of a handful of reasons the door may have been open without involving him returning
