I think he will. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes into teaching. He has a lot of knowledge in the audio engineering field and producers like Nineteen85 and Jordan Ullman have spoken about how much they learn whenever they get together with him.

Having such a state of the art recording studio in your house must feel like a blessing to an active musician. You can create whenever you feel like it without leaving your front door.

I think he went there because needed a break from Toronto after being stuck indoors for 5 straight months. I won't be shocked if he's back soon, though.

August 21 is less than 4 weeks from today. They aren't even back to Toronto, yet alone starting to mix the album. We also don't know if Drake has finished recording yet, if he'll release singles before dropping the album, etc. You putting an expected release date at August is just setting yourself up for disappointment imo.

it's just an assumption, I won't be disappointed with something that wasn't confirmed. He posted 80% a couple weeks ago and claimed it will be out in the summer...

The problem is some people taking Drake saying this album will be out this summer so seriously, lmao. 80% doesn't mean album out in 4 weeks.

This isn't Drake's first album. Until an official date is announced, everything is up in the air and until he posts a tracklist/album cover, nothing is set in stone. Maybe I'm the only one who takes everything he says about how ready a project is with a grain of salt until I have solid proof via a date/tracklist posted by him.

Summer ends on the 31st of August.

He knows he doesn't have to rush with anything. I believe more than anything else, he just wants to be done working on the album so he can leave that album mode headspace. Once that is accomplished, he'll decide how/when to drop it.

Of course, like he does, he has announced it'll be out this summer and now fans are expecting an album in time for the summer but I doubt he'll make it.

This is the exact same thing he does when he goes on stage all excited talking about how he's working on an album only for us to not get anything for the next 14 months, lmao.

He should drop whenever he wants to. There's really no rush (even though some fans are acting like they'll die if they don't get an album before September).
