Dude is always working so I'm sure he's sitting on plenty of music he wants to get out + I just don't think his next album would come out on a pre order cassette that only got a tweet and IG post before coming out

I was thinking if it was the album, maybe he's doing an early run of pre-release cassettes to get some easy coin, then drop it on DSPs later once the tapes sell out. but yeah youre probably right, might just be an EP.
