Brent’s lyrics for me are so shallow though. Like there is almost no depth to his songs. Still a massive fan but I remember hearing All Mine (which I still f***ing love) and feeling kinda incomplete with the lyrics. Just your regular I’ll f*** you good type s***. I was thinking we was gonna get a real yearners type song but it just fell short in that regard.

This album for a first was weird. Some of the songs work in his high pitched tone. Act 1, 2, and 8 do well with that. 4 and 5 feel like they should have been sung in his normal voice.

I do believe that some of the beats in Act 4, 5, and 8 were dope. 4 sounds like Rome. 5 sounds like something Ginuwine would do. And 8 was some Keith Sweat/Gerald Levert parody esque s*** lol.

I do think the vocal gimmick cam get tiring unless used as a concept. It also sometimes didn't feel sequenced right. Mediocre despite some bright spots.
