MSG was so great. Only Kanye can orchestrate moments like that.

Still remember listening the real thing for the first time, it was my birthday at like 2 AM

The wife bought me some weed and we both laid out on the couch listening to TLOP high as s***, just staring at the ceiling, it was like that scene from Mad Men with Roger and his girl taking acid to Pet Sounds

Definitely was crying during ULB and Father Stretch My Hands 1, I thought that was some of the most beautiful music I'd ever heard. Still is tbh, I'd put that opening run against almost anything in his discography.

Smoked up a bit the next morning, took the metro to Hollywood and listened all over again. NMPILA hit so hard great album, great times. I'll never understand TLOP hate but it seems to be going out of fashion these days.

if the album release wasn’t so botched this would probably be kanye’s biggest album

maybe one of the most successful rap albums oat

id say it still is, despite everything. it's his most streamed record I think
