50’s highs were way higher of course but i can’t say that having a 15 year platinum/gold rap career at 29-30+ after you got exposed for essentially being a cop as an embellished coke dealer rapper is going out sad lol. Ross killed off 50 persona of being this career killer. Its like if Kendrick tries to do this to Boston Richey or Gunna and they walk away career unfazed
I moreso just meant spending your last gasp of relevancy on posting 50+ IG stories a day accusing Drake of getting a nose job
50s disses >>>>> Rosses by a Longshot
Literally the only attempt ppl make at ross winning was "50 didn't end his career haha ross won!"
I mean given 50’s track record /reputation and the material he had on ross…yeah. Again its like Kendrick doing that to Gunna rn and Gunna walk out unscathed
This is gonna sound dumb but I feel like NLU has done more to dead this narrative more than anything. Before if somebody said that Drake was a pdf most normal people were like “Wait what? I’ve never heard this” and take it somewhat seriously. Plus it was really only ever talked about by people that legitimately believed it.
But now everybody has heard it and most people I interact with just look at it as jokes and rap beef. Like Jay being 33 in a karate class. Feels like people don’t take it or talk about it as seriously as they did before. It’s like any conspiracy theory really, once it reaches a really wide audience people just start to view it as silly and ridiculous. Something that seems very serious while whispered just does not hold up when thrust into the light
I mean, there's always gonna be the conspiracy theory nuts who will watch clips put together by other conspiracy nuts based on absolutely nothing to further their believes that Drake dates and f***s teenagers but for people who can still think logically when it comes to Drake, all these months and years passing without anybody coming out to accuse him of any weirdo behavior (and even more than that, all the women who were being associated with him for doing weird s*** coming out to deny that they ever had an inappropriate relationship with him), it's killed any belief of there being any truth to that s***.
The fact that there's some people still going down every delusional rabbit role they can find in the hopes that they'll turn up some nasty Drake tea is proof that some people have always hated him and were always going to jump on any nasty rumors put out there about him, regardless of whether they were true or not.
I don't believe this beef has affected his career negatively in any real way and I think as long as people are still obsessed with every little thing Drake does or doesn't do and his music still has motion, he'll be fine.
Ross took away his validity on things like this whoever you feel won aside. Couldnt imagine being around him in 2010-2011 in the middle of BMF/Teflon Don/MMG impetus and he coming up with lil bullshit reasons as to why Ross didn’t win lmaooo
You crazy, respectfully
Drake Stan’s still can’t get over it
their whole threads be filled with Kendrick mentions

Ross survived that beef because of 2 reasons.
50 was done with music by 09.
And Ross aligned himself with Puff who created a whole new persona for him. Ross would've been another rapper from Florida that had a good 2-3 year run if he hadn't gone to Puff.

50 is the type of nigga thats smart enough to know he took that L but stubborn and creative enough to find the most annoying but hilarious ways to never admit it

Also this lol
Niggas never had a moment of “now that we’re here whats up with that” lmao of stopping and actually questioning why those three incidents happened over the course of a decade because it was instantly a***yzed with the scope of bringing validity or discrediting kendrick disses lol

Yeah exactly. Just look at the Bill Cosby s*** for example. It had been quietly known that he was a piece of s*** but within a month of the Hannibal Buress joke becoming national news EIGHTEEN women came forward with allegations against him.
Here we are nearly six months after NLU and…nothing.

50 was done with music because music was done with him. He lost the Graduation Ye thing and still dropped for years after that and then Jimmy Iovine stopped promoting him bc of SMS Audio/Beats headphones in everybody video
That was the perfect time to go on another mixtape run (which to some extent he has mixtapes from then) but his key fault was not tapping into new beat styles, he had more classics in him if he worked with Harry Fraud/Lex Luger and Co./Justice League but he just said f*** it. Regardless the perception and sequence of events in “the story” is that career killer 50 cent tried to end Ross career after he just lost the Ye sales thing and Ross was the one who had hit records, a label and moments in the 2010’s
He released like about 20 songs since the beef ended and they all flopped tho…
I think 50 just want s to use drake for a project or something to get money off of.
If you care about rap he lost. If all you care about is money, we'll that's a good reason drake lost again. That and his unnatural proclivities

Kendrick bringing Dr. Dre on stage after trying to paint Drake as a pedo was ironic, though
Then the Jay-Z pedo rumors resurfaced
Kendrick almost ended up getting Dre canceled over his past with Michel'le and Dee Barnes
50 a wise cat. You youngins need to pay attention. There is strength in moving silent. Some of yall live for outside validation because you haven't healed. Once you stop gaf everything opens up

People were calling Drake a groomer since way back in 2018. It's been 6 years and no one has come out to accuse him of anything.

Ross's career basically became no different from 50's post BISD career after 2014. He had records after that but nowhere near his 06-14 run just like how "I'm The Man" and "Big Rich Town" aren't factored into 50's run.
So, you're basically comparing a 2002-2009 run to a 2006-2014 run. That's not really the "gap" you think it is especially when 50 technically had semi-hits in the late 90's and was supposed to drop POTD in 2000.
Also, 50 slowed down his output in favor of TV while Ross continued to try to stay prolific and drop more projects.
Like someone said, too, 50 had better disses and Ross becoming an industry darling, landing some of the hottest features in the industry like Khaled, Drake, Kanye, Jay, Meek, French, Wayne, etc. played a major role in Ross staying hot during his prime run. And niggas even pointed that out after Money In the Grave got a billion streams.
50 went independent, had limited budgets, and severed ties with Interscope while dropping less music. So, it's apples and oranges.

Lmao nah man.
Time has it to where there runs weren’t concurrent but the bottom line is Ross was supposed to be killed off by 50. 50 had another 5-10 years (or at least a couple graceful late stage albums) in him if he picked better beats
50 went to TV because the game had lapped him and left him behind he didnt just leave music because he was tired of it, everyone he tried to kill became the top niggas lol.
I dont see whats controversial about saying 50 had the advantage with Tia Kemp Ross being a fraud and being f***in 50 cent after the years 2003-2005 lmao. Ross was a regional nigga with some cool album cuts and off the back of that publicity he reinvented himself. 50 lost that one but its a lot more to it than anything he did wrong other than fall off musically

"Drake is in that position right now," 50 said. "They trying to resist the music, because he put out some things that are dope. I say a lot of things on social and they get upset because they look and go, 'Ahh, I’m automatically supposed to be on Kendrick’s side because of my association with Dre.' And I love Kendrick, but I’ll say it to you—I didn’t see where what Drake did was wack at any point."
He continued: "They giving Drake the, 'Oh you wack, you finished.' I’m like, 'Nah, come on.' That’s the system trying to make some sort of resistance and it’s from the consistency. When you win consecutively, that part of the hip-hop demographic wants you out of there. I started to feel the resistance for the Curtis album."
"I was telling him, it’s not him," 50 added. "I’m listening on the outskirts, it’s not you. Don’t let yourself think that for a second. On some real s**t, I said, 'They said you lost, OK. Well, what did you lose?' What exactly did he lose, if he got $300 something million on his last tour? You didn’t lose a muthaf**kin thing, man. If that’s the moment, you keep your creative energy in the right place, and keep creating. If you slow down because you feel, 'What the f**k?' The resistance will make you feel like your material isn’t good. Then you gotta figure out how to keep pushing, how to keep creating—because that’s what it feels like to you at the moment. That s**t was good for hip-hop. It made both of them create quality material faster."
50 only saying what most rappers thinking.
Cole called out the Bots and the false narratives.
Fat Joe said Drake didnt lose and that the winner was decided beforehand
As time goes by more rappers gonna come out and keep it real
