    Yo tech fam!
What do I need and want from a 55 inch TV right now?
Cuz I'm hunting for some Black Fridays discounts and I don't know which TVs or which parameters (and in what range) are the biggest value for money.
I wanna pay max 650 usd.
TV 90% will be used for watching movies. Gaming from time to time.

Thank you for any help in advance!

You can get a mediocre 55' for $300 now

Save your money and spend it on things you need if you're on a budget

LG A2 Oled is the biggest bang for buck if you're mostly going to watch movies on it. Might cost slightly more than $650 at 55 inches though.

    Pros:
    Best budget picture quality.
Infinite contrast (black is black on oleds not dark grey).

    Cons:
Not so bright. Not suitable for watching in a bright room because of reflections.
No 120hz mode (if you care about that).

    agreed

A2 is the best TV under $600

unless you want something brighter with high refresh then I'd go with the TCL R646
