I mean you gotta give 69 team props for their marketing: he completely rebranded to a Latin market.
He was about to headline a huge festival in PR some weeks back but They didn’t let him perform due to risk management, him being currently wanted by some bloods in PR. That’s just one of many shows he’s had.
Y’all gotta realize how big that market is, look at the success Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma be having…
Even being a small artist like 69 to that Latin market generates 5 million views in a day, so I believe he really do be getting those views.
The most important thing that this shows me is how garbage the American market and culture is rn. It’s so far removed from the actual music right now, it’s all about the celebrity status, and the Stannery levels.
That’s why Taylor Swift is winning. Drake is winning. Harry Styles. I’m willing to bet ORod will do well too. It’s all about “how hard can you get people to obsess over you that they’ll eat all the s*** you give them on a silver platter?”
