Where are u getting 40 years from? And how do you know bobby wanted to take it back is it a article somewhere?

Faced with some stiff jail time, Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda tried to wriggle out of his plea deal Tuesday— but a Manhattan judge held him to his word and sent him away for seven years.

The “Shmoney Dance” rapper, whose real name is Ackquille Pollard, pleaded guilty to conspiracy and weapons possession charges just before his trial was set to begin last month in Manhattan Supreme Court.

“I was forced by my attorney to take the plea,” he suddenly screamed out of turn before Justice Abraham Clott.

“I want to drop my plea. I want to drop my plea and fire you,” Shmurma shrieked at his celeb attorney Alex Spiro.

Tekashi was facing 40+ years. That's where the "40 year" narrative is coming from

    This.

Essentially, Bobby wanted to back out of just a 7 year stretch. So it's crazy to just assume he'd have been cool with doing a 40 year one.

    Bobby would have snitched too.

Nigga literally JUST posted a source saying bobby tried to back out of the deal. If that one isn't good enough here's another:

    nytimes.com/2016/10/20/nyregion/bobby-shmurda-a-brooklyn-rapper-is-sentenced-to-7-years-in-prison.html

"Just before a judge sentenced the Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda to seven years in prison on Wednesday, he tried to take back his guilty plea, accusing his lawyer of forcing him to accept the deal.

“I want to drop my plea,” the rapper, whose legal name is Ackquille Pollard, told his lawyer in State Supreme Court in Manhattan. “I want to drop my plea and fire you.”

Looking frustrated and shaking his head, Mr. Pollard said into a microphone: “I was forced by my attorney to take this plea. I was forced.”

Ultimately, Justice Abraham Clott told Mr. Pollard, 22, that his plea was voluntary and in compliance with the law. He then sentenced Mr. Pollard to seven years in prison."

You do realize 7years was his POTENTIAL sentence. He took a plea because his lawyer told him to...
It sounds like bobby found out they really didnt have a case against them which is why he wanted to fire his lawyer..

To back out of a plea deal is you willing to take your chances with the charges you were already given

So he tried to back out to actually fight but the narrative you little ass niggas creating like the nigga was scared of jail or something

They hit that nigga with conspiracy. That’s a life sentence you dumb f***.

What his next move would have been we don't know. But the facts are that deal he agreed (to take the extra years and do 7 in total) he didn't want to do.

You sound mad. Bobby wasn't happy with the deal he took.

So could have either been trying to fight the charge (leaving his homie to fend for himself) or he was going to snitch on them.

    Guess we'll never know
