You find yourself discovering a new guitarist that probably you've never heard about. This series is dedicated to the Greatest Guitarists in the world. All genres are explored, I think this is the 4th guitarist that I've introduced to my drop fam community. Maybe it is the 5th, but so far we have globe trotted in quite a lot of areas.

This is a perfect crash course for a novice, intermediate or expert. I like to focus on the cultural history of great ones.

I've never heard of this guy until I stumbled on him a few years ago. He is equal on acoustic & electric as a player. Half of his work is original compositions & half of his work is American & Brazilian jazz-pop standards. There are a few albums where he collaborates as a duo with his name as a leader.

One in particular is Clare Fischer, Prince fans will probably pick up on this name due to the fact this was Prince's string arranger for over 20 years. But Clare was also the string arranger for sessions for Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Dizzy (the hard bop jazz legend not the grime legend) Mint Condition and Tony Toni Tone's Anniversary!

Helio was born in 1947, a cultural institution at this point for music. Although his catalog is very slim, there's enough to explore & discuss the vast musical abilities this man possesses.

As a proficient jazz musician, he also has the ability to play Brazilian pop with ease. As with other guitar legends from Brazil like Joao Gilberto, Baden Powell, a lot of his work is focused on his native country. But there is a balance of standards from Monk & others

in this particular bundle, you get all 6 Helio solo lp's 4 session lp's and a live lp. Plus some live material.

Most of it is out of print and you get the artwork to the original vinyl( which I pulled from discogs site)
