I only listened like twice last night and it wasn’t good at all. Maybe it’ll grow on me a bit. This is why these “posthumous” albums a year after an artists death is just not a good idea. The song itself sounds choppy and you can tell pop smoke didn’t actually record his verse to this beat. It just doesn’t sound authentic. It makes the song feel like some fan made s*** on YouTube.

agreed
someone correct me if im wrong, never knew too much about pop smoke.. but this record would not exist if he never died right? like would he have actually even wanted to work with cudi?

i mean what did they even expect with this being his second posthumous album in an already short lived career lol

Idk about him wanting to work with cudi tbh but he was clearly interested in collaborating with dif types of artists outside of the normal rap/ trap artist realm so it would def be a possibility. He had a song with karol g (a reggaton artist) already and wanted to work dua lipa as well so cudi wouldn’t of been out of the realm of possibility.

Difference was his first “posthumous” album really wasn’t “posthumous” since he had finished the large majority of it before he passed away so the songs on it sound good and natural and not patched together randomly.
That album was coming out soon before he passed. This album is just a cash grab by his family and team unfortunately. It doesn’t really need to exist.

i mean i never had any expectations for this to sound complete or like organic anyways
i was just hoping for a dope cudi feat and thats what i got u know
Why does he bother doing features that are 20 seconds long he added nothing to the song tbh

Pretty sure I read an interview with dot about motm3 where he said he was working with Pop and Pop admired CuDi and did want to work with him . I'll try to pull it up if I can find it

I never listened to Pop before this album so it was my first large dose of his music and I didn’t mind it so I was shocked by people not liking it lol
Went to his older stuff right after and I liked it more.
But I completely understand the complaint how this was a cash grab & really hinders the view of this album as a whole

Yeah I remember cudi saying something along those lines as well.
