Drake and his team have a tendency throughout his career to try and get in front of imminent leaks when he can
The fact that OP has this info tells me that this is one of those times.
Kind of like when he went on Live during the pandemic and was previewing records and almost all of them came out
Or like when he leaked HOTM back in the day and 6GOD because hackers got em.
this is my guess. So no, not an album cut I don't think but I love this jaunt
