Drake stans are either closeted or latent bisexuals who have developed parasocial romantic attachments to Drake so that their basic critical thinking goes out the window any time he's mentioned. This is why people genuinely bring up his looks, dating history, and s***appeal into the conversation as to why he is a great, which is bizarre because DRAKE IS A GREAT and did not need any of those attributes to be one. He's got numerous classics and shifted the landscape of hip hop music and is without hesitation one of the greatest artists the genre has ever yielded. The insane emotional attachment to Drake that his male stans have is obsessional, unhealthy, and disturbing due to how closely they feel attached to someone so vastly out of their social orbit.
Dissed into fatherhood.
Where was your father?
Where was your father?
in my life, happily married to my mother.
Drake can't say the same, I know.
It's facts though
No other artist on this site or in hip hop fandom, s*** even music fandom, has their dating history, haircuts, physique, and mere social cache with heterosexual women as a consumer market, referenced as often and unerringly as Drake does from his male fans. It's truly insane, not because they're attracted to him, because he is an attractive man, but because they feel that this somehow makes him above any kind of reasonable criticism or mere comparison to other artists. This is why after half a decade stans can't let it go with a beef that is long dead, because to them, it was more than a rapper losing a beef, it was a lover's, a hero's, a damn near god's, honor being compromised. They need to fight back like rabid dogs anytime someone merely doesn't subscribe to that exact mode of thinking. Someone told me I should be chemically castrated because I didn't like HNVM lol, they're sick sick people.
I wish I didn’t like Drake because I’m really not on some Papi Angels s*** I just like good rap music and he has happened to deliver lately lol
You can also do a Bobbi Althoff interview and still act another way in other avenues. He’s a performer. And he’s good at his job
It really doesn’t matter if Pusha’s background is more authentic at this point because they’re both studio gangsters at this juncture of their career. All that matters is the music and Drake’s happens to be better as of recent, and rap is a sport that’s all about what you did lately.

This is what I mean. It couldn't possibly be that I'm just posting on a lunch break or during the very common dead time that is afforded to many white collar jobs. If I disagree with a Drake stans opinion on Drake even if I still love his music, I have to be un/underemployed. It's truly a psychological complex.

Fair. I like Drake's music too.
if someone wanted to write a paper on how drake stans are the most fragile snowflakes
just point them to this thread

This site (and to a greater extent the internet) will make it seem like everyone is either a Drake fan and Pusha hater or vice versa and it’s really like bruh idc what beef these dudes got I enjoy both of their music so I’m not gonna get too personally invested. People will argue on both sides for dudes who don’t even know they exist. It’s fun to debate at times but come on it’s been so many years atp what is there to say that hasn’t been said
Where was your father?
Like look at this. Drake factually had to publicly acknowledge his son after he lost the beef to Pusha T, which is all @op said (albeit in an incendiary and provocative way), and the Drake stan has to immediately resort to discrediting the role that @op's father played in his life. Y'all are genuinely sad people.

Hahaha. True.
I'm not even trolling like really look at this and think to yourself "who does this happen to with any other artist?" This didn't even happen with Eminem, Hov, Kendrick, or Kanye.
he's basically just saying that he's playing a different sport than drake, but drake wants to beat pusha at his sport. drake can't beat pusha at his sport though because drake treats it like his own sport. if that makes sense.

Yeah Pusha been twerking for Grammys for a minute now, Drake not doing that so they are seeking two different things
Like why is Drake getting braids posted in the music section of a forum? Why are his selfies kept in an archival state within the context of his musical history? Why do we care one way or another whether or not Drake is lifting weights and about how his physique looks (obviously we all want to see Drake healthy and happy but beyond that...who cares?). These points are all brought up in musical discussions about him, and on music forums within their music sections. It's seriously deranged stuff, esp when people criticize his sexual partners for being "not good enough" for Drake (specifically referencing the narrative people were hawking about the mother of his only son at the moment, who is out of the league of everyone itt)
Interviewer is absolutely riding d*** holy f*** lmao
s*** is crazy

Only reason Drake doesn't "twerk for the Grammys" is because he knows he can't compete with Kendrick in that arena. Simple as that.

Man never heard of Kanye West
Would his music be less valuable to you if he wasn't as handsome? How do you think that would make Drake himself feel, knowing that your enjoyment of his music is tethered to his physical appearance? Perhaps that's what makes him a genuinely and openly insecure and hurting person. He's truly viewed as a piece of meat by his fans, more so than any other rapper I've ever seen in history, because he's talented, unique, and sexy.

if that's how you want to interpret it sure
