I think we at the point now where this is a valid conversation. Just in the sense that there's fatigue rn for his usual style of albums. He has to at least try different album structures at this point.

Tbh I know Donda's not a concept album tbh and I like Drake music and like the album. This is more looking for how I think Drake would break through the critic glass ceiling if you will.

Drake has already done everything he could do in music. It’s too late in his career to make a concept album and I doubt he has the creative drive to do so anyway.

I'm not b****ing tbh. I like the album. I'm discussing this as someone who just thinks that Drake gets wayy too much flak for someone who can rap like on Champagne Poetry and The Remorse. So, the problem isn't the pen obvi. The problem, I think, is the lack of real artistic meat to sink your teeth into for critics. The music just straight speaks for itself for better or worse. If you didn't like Drake before, you definitely didn't start after this album. Regardless, I think that album(the critic darling) is definitely within reach cos it's mostly about sequencing and a commitment to a concept.
