This was actually one of my favorite songs on the album too. I remember the chorus giving me goosebumps all over the first time I heard it. She definitely was channeling MJ. I love when she does that. This album was underrated btw

her background vocals are the best. people don't understand how intricate and full her backgrounds are. there's never any holes or middle notes missing

people really underestimate and disrespect Janet as a vocalist.

She may not be the powerhouse or churchy singer like a lt of the other females but she knows how to use her voice and it's strengths and weaknesses. She sings with great emotion, and she's never off key.
