I doubt “most” people can’t afford a $10 streaming service.
Spotify has never turned a profit, if more people had subscribed to spotify, they would’ve done that.
Physical media is always gonna reign supreme because you cant beat owning an actual record, a cd, a tape, or an mp3 file in your itunes library.
My dad is just now learning how to do Apple Music and he is lost like hell lmao.

It’s enough to understand why youtube music is bigger + reaches more ppl across the world.
American self importance is such a damaging trait man we gotta really look past ourselves.

Ok even then streaming is way more covenient to what we had before it. Buying each album or song. If you want access to virtually any music your heart desires and play it non stop then I’d say that $10 is worth it.
Idk what prices of it are in other countries but I’d imagine it’s not a huge expense. I mean if your in a 3rd world country then sure you’re probably not using streaming services. Like I know in the Sahara/sub Saharan region they file share allot of their music with each other

Bruh I posted a follow up and said I changed my mind. Why you starting arguments over literally nothing?

Spotify is having like its best year ever rn after laying mad people off and raising prices twice, they’re actually turning a big profit this year. And somehow they’ve been gaining more subscribers

It's wild, because there's so many R&B classics affected by this
Mane went to make love with my girl and realized Usher's "Can You Handle It" was missing from the playlist.
And a couple other songs too
For context, its due to a licensing issue between Youtube and SESAC.
It could potentially be resolved at any time but, for now, SESAC is essentially holding Youtube Music hostage for certain artists until YT coughs up more money.
VPN's work though.
