thegreatdivineHe's been talking about "exiting gracefully" since 2018 lol. That's the same exact phrase he used in the Shop interview. Why do you people think it won't happen?
This isn't some spur-of-the-moment decision he's making because he's actually exhausted and needs a break but jumps the gun and says he's retiring (which is what most rappers do and is the reason why they always end up coming back).
He's been clearly thinking about this for a long time now and he has said numerous times that he has zero plans to keep rapping into his 40s.
When he retires, it'll be earned just off the fact that he's never taken a break and has been on an unprecedented run. He's just trying to prepare y'all for when it eventually happens lol.
