Lol I’m not sure tbh. I just saw it get posted somewhere
That deadass looks like Tom Welling so it might be
when it comes to overseer of universe I am consistent on whoever is writing and directing shouldn't oversee that wasn't just a snyder thing for me. Even writing and directing itself a risk like its tough
Nigga like me would get hype for lindelof writing. That is just me though. Direction wise I just want someone willing to break a lot of the recent superhero conventions and since Gunn created some of that framework I can't believe in him to break them necessarily.
First Class a banger for me like Matthew Vaughn got the sauce. Would love to see Refn tackle a DC property.
James Gunn trailer drop going to determine a lot
Vaughn rumored to be doing The Authority movie
I am 2 decades into this s*** nigga
and spider man 1, 2, dark knight still clears most of what is dropping
Guardians 1 is never a movie where i would go "I need to rewatch that" cool visuals to some degree but its not like a wowzers kind of movie. All respect to gunn fans though lol
i feel you on this. I do find myself feeling like imma need to rewatch Guardians 3 though. that movie was just plain good. emotional, structured well, and story was clean
"one of the best mcu movies"
I don't even think that true but if it was you must understand THOSE MOVIES ARE F***ING MID
do you have a letterboxd? what are some of your favorite movies. not superhero ones. just film in general
Ngl i can't believe James Gunn is people's biggest problem with this movie according to this thread.
There's so many scifi fantasy concepts out there to do. Like why no one making a ninja movie? Cowboy movie? More cyberpunk type s***? Smh. And why does everything have to set up a "universe" what's wrong with just a standalone flick?
cause at the end of the day, its all a business. the studios want to make money and if they have IP that consumers will go out to see, then they will pay for it.
newer original stories are harder to come by because this isn't the 90s nor the early 2000s. Those movies don't make money anymore like they used to. I agree with you though I wish more original s*** would be made by these big studios. its just that recently more often than not they are not successful
Off topic but I been seeing a lot of Xmen chat. What Xmen stories would yall like to see adapted
It's happening

Oh s***. Gunn not f***ing around with this movie
He’s really about to lay the groundwork for the DCU. Feige will be proud
We think Aldis gonna be Hawkman still or will they go younger?
Cause a man in his 40s clapping some 21 year old cheeks is gonna spark some whole age gap s***
Gardner, the character Fillion will play in Superman Legacy, is distinct from both of them for being somewhat less than heroic when he wears the matter-manifesting ring that gives the Green Lantern his powers
While there is also a Green Lantern TV series in the works as part of the rebooted DCU, that one will focus on Hal Jordan and John Stewart
