The cast has been absolutely on point so far.

This is literally DC/WB's last chance to make this work. They always got Batman but I'm taking the mainline universe stuff.

This could also quell some of the superhero fatigue talk too if the movie is good.

personally thought it looked good, idk what the general consensus is tho

are all of the supporting heroes in this movie legacy characters? we are being brought into the DCU at a time where it is known that heroes exist...

i think the engineer and the doctor also would be legacy characters if you look into their backstory as characters

add in the potential of braniac and supergirl showing up in this movie albeit in different sized roles potentially

imo there is a reason why james gunn decided to put the word "legacy" into the title of this superman movie as it's probably going to delve deep into the histories of many of the characters including most importantly superman himself

I’ve said it before , but I really like that Gunn is just going to throw us in the middle of a universe where superheroes are already flourishing

We don’t have to spend years showing origins and seeing heroes take an entire movie to receive their costume, instead we will get stories that can hit the ground running from the very beginning of the movie
