To me it just sounds like they want to cast a younger actor as Superman to build him up and have him around for at least a decade or two, Cavill would be 40+ by the time they started filming anything

But really Cavill as Superman with a new tone could have been something. While at the same time don't think them having any snyderverse iterations of anything with Snyder fans is a good idea at this point
