i like the "superman inspires and changes the way heroes operate" approach. this is in the same vein as The Batman when it comes to reintroducing the character and challenging the perception of these characters on a meta level

I don’t think they look cheap at all. They don’t look bad imo but I definitely would prefer them to have unique outfits by the end of the movie.
