I know a few kids and my cousin who is 17 loves man of steel to my surprise but you're right.
It's spiderman, black panthers and skibbidi toilet. And sonic.

i think you're focusing on the wrong things here.
this is clark at work. I'm talking about clark on the farm, hanging out with wonder woman and saying call me clark type s***.
Like yes he should make the physical slouch/transformation work.
But what I'm talking about is clark/superman in casual settings. that's where i feel the comics really shine. We get to see him a more holistic picture of superman without having to deal with rigid binary weirdness like is his suit too big

Superhero fatigue is partially because they keep doing the same exact beats with the same exact fans eating it up rather than seeking something different. Which is partially the power fantasy. Without any sort of focus on secret identity or normal life which some of you find "boring" when really that is what separates us from just watching a childs dream or playing with action figures and also saves money on effects to humanize the character.
Secret Identies are a HUGE PART OF DC

Going to the secret identity I was kinda put off on how Starfire in Titans (I love the actress) but she can just blend in. Beast boy too. You missing key dynamics that make it fun and interesting
