The color grading is fine. It clearly has more color than the desaturated Synder look. I think what’s throwing people off is the cinéma vérité style cinematography of the crowd.

lotta the time colour grades vary hugely from teaser vs. movie . neither of these shots from dune r even the final thing , just the second and third trailer

trailers r usually done separate from the actual editorial team + atp the final grade of the film probably isn't even finished yet , it's always one of the last steps of post-production

like the teaser could be what the movie ends up looking like but it's just as likely it isn't
