Dude you don’t get it, it was part of a 7 movie arc where Superman is an a****** and bad for most of it then dead in the second movie then back again in the third. And we never see him be good until the end but it’s totally earned atp even though we barely ever saw him be his traditional Boy Scout self in the first place so his heel turn was totally unearned
